CHAPTER 1 Lightpaw slept in the apprentices den. “Lightpaw! Its time to wake up!” Said her mentor, Waterstrike. Lightpaw stretched her body out and yawned. “Go get some mouse from the fresh kill pile.”. Lightpaw walked over. She clawed a mouse. Then her mentor came and ate. “I just wanted to let you know you are becoming a warrior today.” “ WOW!! REALLY!” Yelped Lightpaw. “Yes,You have been working very hard lately, and you aced your Warrior test.”. “So I now its time to go get your name!” Lightpaw was so excited and rushed over to Leader’s Rock. Lightpaw sat up front. After a few minutes, the leader, Leopardstar arrived on the top of the rock. “ All catsold enough to hunt, gather beneath Leader’s Rock for a clan meeting.”
