Instructions

On November 1st day 304 of the year we have subtropical storm Wanda in the Atlantic and Medicane Apollo in the Mediterranean Sea likely to make landfall in Egypt or Israel at some point this week. There are also a few AOI's across the world. There have been 84 storms so far this year getting closer to the average as we start the official cyclone season for the southern hemisphere. In the Atlantic day 153 of hurricane season we currently have Subtropical Storm Wanda which is slow moving and could become a fully tropical storm at any point this week. We also have invest 95L which currently has a 30% chance of formation and models are predicting some formation in the Caribbean in the next few days so we will have to keep an eye on that. In the south Indian ocean we are welcoming the cyclone season with Invest 93S which has been around since October 26th and has a 30% chance of formation and is really beginning to blow up some convection. In the Australian region we are welcoming cyclone season as well luckily no storms active here. Same thing in the south pacific no storms active just some regular thunderstorm activity and extratropical lows from Antarctica. We also have subtropical storm Wanda here is the official forecast map by the NHC as you can see its a relatively slow moving system and likely to persist through the majority of the week and could become fully tropical at any point it currently has winds of 50mph and movement is west at 1mph it is located at 36.3 N 43.2 W. And we have the sea surface temperatures for Nov1 as you can see still pretty warm in the pacific and Caribbean also pretty warm where Wanda is but as it moves north it will encounter cooler waters. Also quite warm water for Apollo and Invest 93S very warm in the West pacific and in the southern hemisphere ready for cyclone season.
