WHAT?!!! I THOUGHT IT WAS LAUNCHING NEXT YEAR!!! Ok, so; The James Webb telescope is a new space telescope that NASA has been developing since 1996. It's supposed to be 100 times more powerful than Hubble, allowing us to see objects that are 9 times fainter. It's total resolution is a whopping 937 MEGAPIXELS. For comparison, 4K resolution is only 12 megapixels! So yeah, it will be able to see a lot of cool stuff that Hubble wasn't able too. Including being able to measure what's inside exoplanets atmospheres which will heavily aid our mission to find life outside of Earth.
