I recommend using turbo to generate the map or else it'll look like its raining trees. hover your mouse over a tile and it will show you which nation its from. you can also press the 2 key and it will display the nation borders. then press 1 when your finished to view the world powers, just hold space down. it might flicker on and off though. press the 3 key to show you're worlds history. It will constantly update. you can drag some things around such as trees, mountains, hills, cities, and flags.
