NO‐ I'M AN HOUR AND A HALF LATE. (but at the same time im not because ssbu was released in the 8th in europe) --- So... it's been 3 years, huh? Just under those 3 years, the roster is finally complete. Although I'm not a Kingdom Hearts fan, and although Sora isn't featured in the project, in the end, he's a welcome character. In fact, everyone are. Yes, that includes Byleth, Corrin, and other Fire Emblem characters, and it's not just that franchise alone. Smash was, and STILL IS a great way to introduce others to unfamiliar franchises and characters. In fact, what if I told you that I became a Fire Emblem, Xenoblade, Persona 5 and Kid Icarus fan BECAUSE of Smash, and because of how cool the characters represented are? Of course, there were times where I got slightly disappointed about certain DLC characters making it in instead of others, but in the end, I still gave them a try and fill in love with them. Take Byleth for a major example. [ I've talked about my impressions with Byleth, Corrin etc. on another project similar to this one, so if you're curious, here it is ] https://scratch.mit.edu/projects/518608932/ Shulk, Pit and Dark Pit were fun to play as ESPECIALLY in the Wii U era. The reason why I mained them and loved them was because of their quotes such as "I'm really feeling it!™️", "VICTORY!", and "ELECTROSHOCK!", therefore, especially because Smash 4 is very nostalgic to me, the three of them have a place in my heart. Mega Man was also my main for similar reasons... *COUGH* except that he's mute- *COUGH-*, a little more of why I mained him will be explained soon. I was thinking about learning more about the Persona franchise, and Joker's inclusion made me contempt. If there's anyone who I particularly got REAAALLY hyped about, it of course had to be Mega Man, Inkling, and Pyra, Mythra and Rex. Note that 1) I wasn't a Xenoblade fan until late 2017 2) The Mega Man series has an impact on my childhood 3) I'm a long time Splatoon fan as I got Splatoon 1 three months after its release ...That's enough of me reminiscing the past nostalgic memories here... So what's my take on Smash Ultimate now, and especially it's roster? It's simple. The hard work and dedication put into it is more than just impressive. If I would have the choice to add a character of my own... Honestly? Although I have a long list of characters I'd like to see in Smash, I don't really care so long as I already have SOME of my beloved characters. Rex, Pyra and Mythra's trailer SPECIFICALLY made me realise this. So overall... I appreciate the work Sakurai and his team. They need a well-deserved rest. #ThankYouSakurai... although 2 months late, i purposely waited until the 3rd anniversary. --- EDIT: oh my god- I FORGOT THE CREDITS AGAIN... anyways...
