Intersecting sine and cosine functions changing in wavelength.
I happened upon these patterns of intersecting sine-cosine waves while trying to simulate the patterns seen in the opening of the 1958 film Vertigo which featured spiraling Lissajous patterns. My Scratch project here is different than those Lissajous figures but interesting in its own right. Composer of Vertigo score: the wonderful Bernard Hermann.
