Alastor: Naze watashi no mimi ni furenakereba naranai nodesu ka? (Why do you have to touch my ear?) Niffty: Anata wa me o samashite imasendeshita. (You weren't waking up.) Alastor(confusedly): Nani ka hitsuyodeshita ka? (Did you need something?) Niffty: Hai. (Yes.) Alastor: Anata wa nani ga hitsuyodesu ka? (What do you need?) Niffty: Shushin-ji no hanashi o yonde moraemasu ka? (Can you read me a bedtime story?) Alastor: A. Watashitachi wa shibaraku sore o shote imasendeshita. (Oh. We hadn't done that in a while.) Alastor: Anata no heya ni mukai, anata ga sukina monogatari o erabimashou. (Let's head to your room and pick out a story you'll like.) (The scene cuts to Alastor and Niffty in her room.) Alastor(searching for a good story): U-n. Koko de mite mimashou. (Hmm. Let's see here.) Alastor: Oi. Kore wa i ne. (Hey. This is nice.) Alastor: A! Dakara, koredesu. (Ooh! So, is this one.) Alastor: Soshite, sore mo idesu. (And that one's nice too.) (He walks over to Niffty with 3 books.) Alastor: Sate, Nifuti watashi wa anata ni san no monogatari o yom tsumori. (Now, Niffty I'm gonna read you 3 stories.) Alastor: Watashi ga yom saisho no hanashi wa 'Jakkutomamenoki' to yoba rete imasu. (The first story I'm gonna read is called "Jack and the Beanstalk.") (The two go inside the book thanks to Alastor's powers.) Alastor(narrating): Mukashi, Nojo ni wa mazushi kazoku ga imasu. (Once upon a time, there's a poor family on a farm.) Alastor(narrating): Karera no ushi wa hijo ni yowaku, koreijo gyunyu o seisan suru koto ga dekimasen. (Their cow was very weak and unable to produce any more milk.) Alastor(narrating): Sore de, hahaoya ni wa musuko no Jakku ga ushi o machi ni tsureteiku-yo ni shote imasu. (So, a mother has her son, Jack to take the cow to town.) Mothra: Burritsu-o, onegai dekimasu ka? (Blitzo, can you do me a favor?) Blitzo: Mosura-San, nani desu ka? (What is it, Ms. Mothra?) Mothra: Neri wa yowa sugite gyunyu o seisan dekainode, machi de uru koto ga dekimasu ka? (Can you sell Nelly in town as she's too weak to produce milk.) Blitzo: Wakatta. (Okay.) Blitzo: Sa, Neri. (C'Mon, Nelly.) (He puts Nelly the Miltank on a leash and takes her to town.) Alastor(narrating and walking with Blitzo, Nelly, and Niffty): Jakku wa machi ni mukatte itanode, shiranai otoko ni tome raremashita. (As, Jack was heading to town he was stopped by a man he doesn't know.) Striker: Konnichiwa, sa. (Hello there, sir.) Blitzo: Uwa-a. Tode wa dare desu ka? (Whoa. Who are you?) Striker: Naruhodo, anata wa mirutanku o torihiki shote imasu. (I see, you're trading your Miltank.) Striker: Anata ni agetai mono ga aru nda. (I have something for you.) Alastor(narrating): Otoko wa ni no kagayaku ingen o toridashi, Jakku ni "Maho no Mame" to shote shira rete iru to setsumei shimasu. Sorera ga shigeki sa reru to, kyodaina mame no ki ni seicho shimasu. (The man takes out 2 glowing green beans and explains to Jack that they're known as "Magic Beans" and if they're planted they'll grow into a giant beanstalk.) Alastor(narrating): Jakku wa maho no mame ga sugoi otoda to omottanode, ushi o sorera to kokan shimashita. (Jack thought the magic beans sounded amazing so, he traded the cow for them.) Blitzo(amazed): Wa o. Kyodaina no mame ki?! Watashi wa sorera no mame o totte imasu, soshite anata wa Neri o motsu koto ga dekimasu. (Wow. A giant beanstalk?! I'm taking those beans and you can have Nelly.) Alastor: To shote, Jakku wa ie ni kaerimashita. Kare wa kare no hahaoya ni kare ga ushi to kokan shi maho no mame o misemashita, soshite kare no hahaoya wa sore ni tsuite gekido shi. (As, Jack got home. He showed his mother the magic beans he traded the cow for and his mother got furious about them.) Blitzo: Ne, Mosura-San kaettekita! (Hey, Ms. Mothra I'm back!) Mothra: A, anata wa sudeni Neri o torihiki shimashita ka? (Oh, did you trade Nelly already?) Blitzo: Un! Tashikani yatta! (Yup! I sure did!) Mothra: Nani o te ni iremashita ka? (What did you get?) Blitzo: Maho no mame ga arimasu! (I've got magic beans!) Mothra(angrily): Burritsu-o. Anata wa hontoni watashitachi no mirutanku o korera to kokan shimashita ka? (Blitzo. Did you really trade our Miltank for these?) Blitzo: Un. Sorera no nani ga mondai ni natte imasu ka? Karera wa kyodaina mame no ki ni seicho shimasu. (Yeah. What's wrong with them? They grow into a giant beanstalk.) Mothra(furiously): BURRISTU-O, ANATA WA NERI O TABEMONO TO KOKAN SURU KOTO NI NATTE IMASU! (BLITZO, YOU'RE SUPPOSED TO TRADE NELLY FOR FOOD!)
