Hewwo! I'm still active and I've finally decided what I'm going to do with the ~Kira's Gift~ series! I know I said that I was going to keep the PMV episode style, but I've ultimately decided that I'm going to turn it into a comic instead. I have many reasons for wanting to do this. 1. Voice actors. While everyone who has auditioned/gotten a part is so talented, (keep doing what you're doing you guys!) I ultimately can't keep track of who has what part, who quit, who's inactive, who's auditioning, etc. Also, I'd like to take this series to other websites like YT, and I don't want to use people's voices if they're uncomfortable with their voice being on YT. 2. Copyright As I said, I'd like to take this series and story to other places, but I can't do that if the music I'm using is copyrighted. There's no need for music or voice acting if the series is a comic. 3. Pacing I simply do not have the time anymore to dedicate so much time to a mediocre at best telling of a story, only for you guys to have to wait several more months for the next part. I'd rather you guys get increasingly more bits and pieces to this story. 4. Story I'd like this story to have a mystery element to it. I'd like for you guys to be able to have theories about where the story is going to go, and the best way for me to be able to do that is by giving you guys hints as bits and pieces of the story are revealed. As for everyone who worked on this series with me up until this point, thank you so so much. You guys will always be considered a part of this project <333
~ ADDITIONAL QUESTIONS YOU MAY HAVE ~ Q: When's the first chapter coming out? A: Idk anymore lol Q: How long will each chapter be? A: Not sure yet! Q: Will there be a schedule for when each chapter is posted? A: The current plan is one chapter every two weeks, but nothing is set in stone at the moment. Q: Will the story be the same as the animated version? A: While there will be elements to the original story, I'm rewriting the entire thing for the most part. You'll still see all of your favorite (and least favorite!) characters though! Q: What about the cameo characters? A: Unless people change their mind about their character showing up, (of which, come to me about that please!) all cameo characters will still show up with the same name and design (such as Ashanti, Kimba, Afia, etc.) Q: Do I need to have any knowledge of the original series to read the comic? A: Nope! The comic is a rebooted, rewritten version of the original series! Q: Will the original story ever be completed? A: No, I highly doubt that story will get a conclusion. The elements and general idea will be transferred to the comic, but certain details will be added and scrapped. Q: Will the comic be any good? A: Better than the animated version I hope, but I'm not sure if it'll be any good! Q: Will the animated version of the episodes stay up? A: I want the episodes to stay up for nostalgia reasons, but I'm not sure where I'll end up putting them lol Q: Can I dub/animate the comic when it's out? A: Absolutely!
