Going through this actually makes me feel a bit better about my art ^^'. I've totally not stolen a feature from a different entry and used it here (I coded it myself tho :P) Hit space to go through them one by one (unknown) These came from my very first attempt at a warriors game. The picture on the top left was actually a complete accident, I made a wavy line that looked like a cat and decided to go from there. 11/30/17 This is an entry from a DTA that never finished. I don't think I would have won, but this was my first time working with colored lines. 12/29/17 A part of a MAP part, and one of the few times all of my OCs at the time were drawn. Clockwise from the black cat: Night, Sun (two OCs that stuck around lol) a wolf, a firefly (or lightning bug if that's your thing) and an owl 2/18/18 DTA entry again! I did an art process for this one, and at the end I realized the body was too long. This should be the end of the horribly saturated colors :D 4/7/18 Sea/Blue ref sheet. Hilariously enough, I originally thought the project was a DTA, when it was clearly was an MYO. So I re-did it right after I shared it. I can still feel the embarrassment from past me lol 5/29/18 This is a re-done MAP part from 2017! At this point, I used ArtRage Lite for drawings and Scratch bitmap for animations. 6/27/18 OKAY. THIS ACTUALLY AGED FINE. My mouse sucked though. I had to use the line tool to draw. It was annoying. But hey, block letters :D This was a frame in a MAP part. 8/23/18 This was supposed to be a part of a CC. I made a respectably long PMV. For a CC. Dedication right there. Also having a top down view is cool! 9/20/18 I attempted to host a MAP. It failed. I need to re-host this. The song choice is actually pretty good ^^. The characters are Zeno and Xyleno, and I swear at the time I did not know Zeno is a famous mathematician. I found out like a week after naming him. 12/14/18 I hadn't fully gotten over Warriors lol. I mostly used this as an opportunity to test out ways to draw fire. Ashfur looks so derpy in this lol 12/31/18 I clearly did not care about New Year's Eve. This design is not mine btw, she was part of a DTA. But, reading her backstory, I can really use some of those ideas. 4/12/19 I took a ridiculous amount of time to make this grass lol. Also, this is another MAP part. It looks like there's a mountain in the background. That was not intentional. 6/12/19 I don't know why I thought that being a princess meant someone was easily scared, but it is a stereotype that definitely makes sense. She's facing someone down in pouring rain. Mad props to you, Birch. 7/22/19 Awww. I remember having a hard time with the small cat's pose. (She's from Warriors, Violetshine I think?) 7/23/19 I said I would update the reference. I did. I forgot to delete saying I would do that from this project. 8/19/19 Gotta love those special effects. Word for word what I said in the thumbnail entry. Hold true today! 8/29/19 Syntha regretting life choices. The transitions in this MAP part are awesome. 8/31/19 I used way too much airbrush on this. For the moon, it's fine. The purple shading looks good. Not for the cat. Also, worth noting this is not my OC 9/7/19 Syntha, I think that's Shade (There's a character named Night and a character named Dusk. Help) and a character I now want to redesign and use is apparently called Athaia. From what I can tell from the MAP part, she creates glowing runes. 10/6/19 One of the more recent designs of Night before I dropped her character. I had this character for about 3 years. 1/17/20 First time actually using references for the clock! Also, this accidentally became a steampunk looking thing. Hey, thermal clocks might be a good idea. 4/18/20 Woah texturing? Yeah, this took forever but it looks so cool. Scribble shading for the win! 6/16/20 Yearbook thing. I love the quote. Also Anya's design still looks cool! 7/3/20 Oakheart chilling in a MAP part. I think I put a pink overlay on this. I checked. I did. I need to do that more often. 7/8/20 I don't have access to my files for anything before this because my computer decided to break. On another note, this is a really cool Egyptian-themed cat! 8/14/20 I went down a rabbit hole for this one. It's from a MYO based on flowers. I used one singular flower. Wow. I never used this character. 11/14/20 This was and entry for a DTIYS. The background is just... *chef's kiss* 5/27/21 At this point, I've gotten a lot better at setting the mood. I still have a fascination with caves. This was also for a DTIYS 8/9/21 I've been practicing drawing humans for a while at this point. I just put this one in because the pose is slightly more complicated. 8/31/31 *Inhales* Okay first, this character design is not mine and it is awesome. Second, I've gotten a lot better at distance. Third, I actually drew a human well?? 10/31/21 One of my newest OCs, currently named Terra! She's chilling with ghosts. (cont.)
(First time getting the notif that the description is too long lol) This is the first time using the shading style I've fallen in love with. 11/7/21 DTA entry, and wow. I've actually improved a lot. Going though this has shown me things I want to do again, OCs I want to revive, and honestly? Seeing what kind of a person I was is a pretty cool experience. So yeah, that's 4 years and 8 months of improvement at the time this project was shared! The tradition of long descriptions continues lol
