I won’t be leaving completely but i won’t be posting much either though i have some plans for projects to be done soon. this year has been pretty hectic for me and to be quite honest because I didn’t have much time and motivation to actually do things here on scratch I’ve started to lose interest in this platform. not to mention that I’m a teen on a platform aimed at kids so its slightly awkward for me,, again, I’m not leaving scratch,, I’m not quitting art— it may not be a lot but I’ve progressed quite a fair bit and i can’t give it up now. if you choose to stay knowing that I’m gonna be pretty inactive here, thank you. While many of us are living safely and comfortably in our own homes, far away from the raging war, many children and their families are caught in the crossfire, fearing for their lives. To put this into perspective, here are some of the things that have happened since Putin started the invasion of Ukraine: -Switzerland has broken it's neutrality in the first time in about 500 hundred years, imposing sanctions on Russia -Germany has pledged 100 billion Euros on military spending, dramatically beefing up its military strength -Ukraine has banned men aged 18-60 from leaving the country -Ukraine has offered arms to anyone willing to fight -Some Nordic countries have expressed their interest in joining NATO Therefore, yes, the situation is dire. Many other countries are feeling threatened by Putin's bold move on a sovreign state, effectively breaking international peace laws. Though we cannot travel to the frontlines to take up arms, there are ways we can still help; by donating, you help to fund the effort to evacuate and protect the Ukrainian citizens. Countless lives could be saved.
