Soup. Yum. Story: Imaginum woke to find herself in an unknown place. 'At least I feel a little better,' she muttered to herself; she had been very sick when she went to sleep. Her eyes traveled along the grey walls of the murky tunnel. There was light at the end. 'I suppose that's the only way to go,' she thought, and slowly crept toward it. Then it dawned on her where she was. Remembering her prank on the leader of the Seekers, involving an obnoxious duck singing on her head, she walked with more caution than before. Maybe she had been summoned here. But for what? Revenge? She poked her head around the corner, into the room with the light. Why did she feel so afraid? She was perhaps the most powerful being in the universe! What could best her? 'The sickness could,' she reminded herself, thinking of the days on end she'd spent lying in her bed of leaves, feeling as if she was a wilted plant. She saw a dark gray cat sitting on a simple throne carved out of bare soil. The cat blinked. Imaginum nervously backed up, but found a wall replacing the way she had come from. "You Shifters... I've had enough of your tricks." The voice came from the small cat on the chair. "Your exaggerations and crazy fantasies are annoying me like anything, Imaginum. So how about this. Give me the truth, the whole truth, and nothing but the truth, and I will let you go, free from that illness that has been holding you down so. Refuse, and you will find yourself back in your leaf-bed, ever closer to death... Yes, even immortals can die, Imaginum. You just have to find their weak spot..." Imaginum backed up further, faking a smile. "Wh...What is your question?" The ringleader of the Seekers stood up and arched her back in a casual stretch. "Tell me where your dear friend Shadowed Night- Umbra, I think you call her- is hiding her sister Wisp of Time and her old acquaintence Truth. That is all." Imaginum's small, grim smile stayed there. There was no choice for her here. She was so used to being the first, the most powerful, and the most hidden, that she hadn't ever been singled out like this before. It wasn't comforting. "No. I can't say. Go find them yourself, if it means this much to you. I tell you, Wisp won't be too happy to see you. Time fades all memories." The old Seeker's empty eyes flashed briefly. "All memories except mine. You villains won't be able to spread your false ideas anymore... I tell you, I will remember this." As Imaginum began to wake, sick once more, she heard the angry cat's voice echoing in her mind: "We'll get revenge..."
