Backstory: Once there were only cats, no humans. The cats ruled, mostly around where South America is, and a little into Europe, Australia, Canada, and Asia. One cat disliked all others. He was gruff and talked to no one. He traveled far and wide ot find a place to call his own and found a country covered with sand and with a beautiful river. He called the river the Nile (KNEE-LAY) after his dear mother, the only cat he ever loved. He called the country Egypt after himself, for his name was Gyptie, his nickname was Gypt. He loved his land, so full of snad the color of his golden fur. One day he saw a bustard. The bustard had beautiful wings. "I will bargain for your golden wings." Gypt said. The bustard laughed and turned his head. He was missing an eye. "I will bargain one of my eyes!" exclaimed Gypt. The bustard greedily agreed, leaving Gypt with only one eye, but a golden pair of wings. Gypt loved them. He flew everywhere. Many years passed and Gypt loved life in Egypt. One day, a new creature walked the Earth and came to Egypt. He declared the land his and pushed poor Gypt out of the way. He called himself Man and renamed the river the Nile (NY-UL). Gypt was cast aside. His anger flourished inside him and caused him to glow. He flew to space, where maybe for ONCE he could be left alone like he wanted instead of become bothered by Man and his fleshy friends or by other cats. It worked, nobody bothered him up there. He flew as fast as he could some nights, just for the fun of it. Some nights he went slow. On the fast nights you can see him and people often mistake him for a shooting star. On his solw nights you can also see him and he can be mistaken for a meteroit. But tell me, does a star or meteorite have wings? Does a star or meteorite have small golden ears?
