Alpha ran down the hills in the moor with his mate, Silver, at his side. Then a giant badger came out of nowhere and made a deep growling noise. It then leaped onto Silver and dug its large black claws into her fur and blood spilled from her body. "Alpha! Help!" Silver barked. Alpha ran towards the badger and bit down with his strong teeth. Alpha was the leader of the pack, and was very strong. The badger ran away, and Silver murmured, "Goodbye, Alpha. Take care of our children." Alpha's eyes widened in shock as Silver's head fell to the ground and a storm broke out in the distance. The rain soaked her body and Silver's blood seeped through the grass. Alpha howled and blinked away tears. He ran back to the hollow where the pack lived and saw Cliff coming towards him. "Alpha, Mist and Claw are... dead." He gasped. Alpha felt his heart lurch. His children and only relatives were dead. "Silver is dead. My children are dead. What will I do now?" He barked and stared up at the raindrops falling from the sky. "What will I do now?" He repeated.
