Click things in your toolbox to pick them up, and click again to use them. Press space to put them back down. Most items can only be put down in your toolbox, but some can be put down elsewhere (like on platforms). Use the tip of your shovel on the grass to collect seeds. You may have to dig multiple times. You can plant them as well. Birds will come if you do special things! To craft something on the right, you must figure out what materials you need. Once you think you have the required materials, click on the crafting recipe. If it failed, you need different materials.
