Arla ran as fast as she could. A small white kit with a singular dark pink patch around her eye swung in her jaws as she ran. The flaming fields of flowers had flames that jumped at the sky. The beautiful willows where now charred sticks. Firzis had done this. Set the Floreta on fire. She fled with fear and anger. How could he have done this! What a traitor. Arla yelped as she stepped onto a smoldering ember. Her paw felt really hot. Then she tripped over a rock. She clenched her kitten close to her singed lavender fur. Shadows pursued her as she lay on the ground. The little kitten mewled in fear and snapped her eyes open. One was icey blue, and the other flame red. Arla licked her kit. "It's going to be alright. Its alright..." The shadows became clear now, 4 Fire Soldiers. Arla breathed in smoke and coughed, then closed her yellow eyes and let out her last breath. "It looks like she is dead. What do we do with the kit?" the red soldier growled. A dark gray cat suggested, "We can take her to Kaali, she knows what to do." "Perhaps." the red cat meowed quietly. The kit mewed, and the dark gray soldier picked her up and the soldiers sped away, leaving the lavender singed cat to be devoured by the hungry red flames.
