READ ME!!! Basically, I had the INGENIOUS AND NEVER BEFORE INVENTED idea of a trading card game! ;v; Anyway, I'd like to explain how it works. So far, there are 4 "units"; Attack, Defense, Speed, and Rounders. The way combat works is complicated, so I'll make a simple version and a complicated version. Simple: - Each card will have it's own Base HP mark on the back (ignore all the other stats for simple). That's how much power from hits you can take. - Different Units have different speeds, Speed being the fastest and Defense being the slowest (e.g. Order is Speed, Attack, Defense). - Units have different Strengths and weaknesses. Much like Pokemon, certain units are weak to certain unit attacks. (Attack is weak to defense, Defense is weak to speed, Speed is weak to attack). Rounders have no weakness or strengths yet, so they'll be weaker until then. - Attacks come with an attack type and base power. The number of attack power on the attack being used reduces the opponent card's HP by that much. - Once your opponent's or your cards have all been KO'd then the person with at least one card remaining wins. Simple, right? Well, if you wanna go DnD style gameplay, then I suggest you wait until the calculation engine comes out, cuz it's too complicated to explain. Anyway, each generation will introduce 10 new Code Combatants (except for Gen 1, which will feature 20 combatants), 4 new moves per combatant (except for generation 1, which will get 1.5x that), and possibly 1 new Unit type (depending on if I have an idea for a unit type. If I do, though, the moves introduced for that generation will be tripled and 2/3 of them will be dedicated to the new class). Dual unit typing will most likely come around Gen 5, and it won't be limited to newcomers, so if you are already a Code Combatant, you can still fill out a signup page showing your original type and the secondary type you want to have. Anyway, there's all I have to say. Now go sign up, and become a Combatant today! (Disclaimer, Combatants may or may not be featured in a Unity or Unreal Engine game. Still need to work on that type of coding)
