I tried not to make this too complicated Remember, arts has no rights or wrong, what matter is that you have fun! >Read along while going through the projects< 1. Draw a circle 2. Draw 2 lines like this 3.draw a chin going down, add a cheek if needed (like facing diagonally ) 4. Add line from chin to head, if not facing forward, bend the line, and add ear at the end of circle 5.add eyes (realistic eyes are above ears, cartoony eyes are the line above and under ears) 6.Add nose , blush(opt) and mouth! 7.brows will show the character’s emote, add some details too! 8.plain hair (we’ll get to the details) 9.add lines and cuts to the hair 10.before 11.after 12.add neck, body 13.add the joints and line to connect the joints 14.trace over the sketch 15.add line on the palm sketch as fingers 16.outline the sketch to make finger silhouette 17.details 18.(opt) add props, some props appearance depends on how the character use it, this character is holding the script very tightly folded, so the paper looks folded and have wrinkles 19.add details, sometimes details depending on character’s appearance as well 20.if the character is calm: 21.if the character is nervous : 22. merge the sketch if needed 23.add layer for line art 24.turn down the sketch’s opacity 25.trace sketch 26.hide sketch layer THATS ALL!
