Daisy AU story Daisy and her sister (Honeybee) used to be very close. They would play in the flower fields outside their owner's house and sleep in front of the fireplace together. But their owner who lived in a very large house that was inherited by their parents couldn't pay anymore and was forced to move out. Daisy and her sister reached the boiling point of their relationship and fought while they should have been supporting their owner. Honeybee felt that Daisy was being self-destructive and went to a witch in the forest (because why not, this takes place a while back) and strikes a bargain that if her owner can stay in their house forever and not in debt if Honeybee can give up her freedom of being a cat. The witch argues that this isn't fair for Daisy, who would be heartbroken and alone, and changes the stakes. Daisy would be only able to see Honeybee at night when Honeybee took on her cat form. This, of course, was a half-truth. During the day, Honeybee took on the form of her namesake because the witch wasn't allowed to kill animals. Instead of helping Daisy, this made her obsessed with honeybees and stop going anywhere but the flower fields. In a way, the witch also cursed Daisy to stay on the property until the day she died. Daisy reached out with her sister everyday for the rest of her life, lacing herself into magic to try to break the vow her sister took.
