The brown she-cat is Rake ( Formerly Domino) and the kit's name is Spindle. Tiny bit of the story: Rake was a house cat formerly named Domino. One night the house burned down and loud, sharp noise woke Rake up. Rake ran out of the house in fear when the noise didn't stop. She hid behind a bush and watched as the house burned and the fire flicked and roared. She ran when another loud sound came her way. She was blinded by the darkness and she ran with only her senses to guide her. She ended up bumping into one of those tall metal things and she tripped. Landing head first on concrete knocked her out. She awoke to see scarred cat faces staring at her. They helped her and fed her after she tried to claw a white and black cat. They liked that. They brought her to a tiny black cat and he said she could stay. Later on she was given the name Rake and the job to kill traitor kittens (kits that were born by traitor cats). She hated it but over the years she hardened, and fell in love with the white and black cat know as Bone. Two weeks after being together Rake became pregnant with a kit. When given her job, Rake was told that she could never have kits, ever. Now she was pregnant. She obviously told Bone, who tried to keep it a secret from Scourge, the black cat. Scourge eventually, however, noticed Rake's stomach getting bigger. He tried to kill Bone and Rake, but failed. Bone began to fight Scourge while Rake escaped. Rake does not know if Bone was killed or not, and after finding a place to rest, feels very guilty and depressed. She gives birth to her kit Spindle in a shed, and that's when she finds out that her kit was different. Her eyes were a weird shade of purple with black around the edges. This was odd, true, but what threw Rake off was the pointy creme colored horns that stuck out on either side of Spindle's forehead. Rake becomes even more depressed, but loves her daughter nonetheless. She wonders if she should just kill Spindle and beg for Scourge's mercy. She shakes the thought away quickly, and that is this scene c: This took three hours :I and about 30 minutes to copy and paste this and delete any spoilers of my new story !!
