Backstory: As Wavecrash tried and tried again to reach up and save Blue Moon, Blue Moon said "Don't! Don't save me!" Wavecrash did not understand... Why not? She continued trying. Blue Moon sobbed and told her about Tinder. Now, full of understanding and sadness, Wavecrash returned to the seas, where she found Tinder's ashes. She scooped them up and thought of the only thing she could do, toss them up in the sky, so Blue Moon could be once again with her love. This caused the cage of stars to feel grief and regret, so every year on November 14th (the day Wavecrash tried to save Blue Moon) the cage secretly opens to let Blue Moon slip out and explore the world. This night is known as the Blue moon because the cage creates a blue shadow to cast over the moon so he does not see Blue Moon escape for those sweet few hours. THE END
