You wake up earlier than usual, and notice that someone is lying besides you. It takes you a moment to remember that you spent the night with Toga. At the moment, you two were just best friends, though you've come to love her more than a friend would. You sat up and heard Toga groan, "Why are you up so early? It's the weekend, there's nothing to get done." You got out of bed and got dressed for the day as she yawned and rubbed her eyes. You remember something, "Don't you have a meeting to go to?" you remind her. She nodded, "Yeah, I do. I don't wanna go," she whines. After she gets out of bed, you walk over to her and put your head on her shoulder. "You gotta go. It's important." you insisted. She sighed, "Fine, I guess I'll go then." She got dressed and quickly left through the door with a wave. A few moments later, you leave to follow her. You didn't want to be left home alone, and you kinda wanted to meet everyone from the league again. You thought you were being pretty sneaky about it, but Toga stopped in the middle of the alleyway to wait for you to catch up. As you started to speed up, you felt someone grab your arm harshly. "Hey, let go!" you shouted to whoever it was. Toga glanced behind her at you and narrowed her eyes. She swiftly ran over to you and sliced their hand so they'd let go, pulling you behind her. "You should leave." she whispers to the person. They roared loudly at Toga and you scurried away and ran through twist and turns until you couldn't hear them fighting anymore. You were breathing very hard and were having what you think is a panic attack. You started crying out of shock and knelt down on the floor. You heard footsteps, but couldn't stop crying. "What are you doing here?" you heard a coarse voice ask. You looked up to see Dabi, who you've only met once, and very briefly at that. He asked your name, as he didn't remember it, and you hiccuped out, "Y/n." He sighed as he looked like he was thinking about something. "Come on, I'll take you back to base," he decided. He helped you to your feet and led you farther down the alleyways. Soon, you heard Toga's voice a bit farther down and you ran ahead, "Himiko!" you shouted to get her attention. When you saw her, you got mad for her not coming to look for you herself. "Y/n, are you okay?" she asked. You ignored her and walked over to a corner to cry. You were still in shock from before and everything was very overwhelming. Dabi came over first and asked you how you knew Toga, "We were childhood friends." you answered honestly. ~~~~Tbc~~~~
