Alright! So, a couple of people have asked me for advice and making a comic series, because that's what literally everyone is doing right now. Not literally, but whatever. So here are a couple of tips and tricks; 1. Write out the plot. I would always recommend you to write out the plot of your story first, maybe in a google document or an unshared project on Scratch. That way, you get a good idea of what to do for future chapters/episodes. That's what I did/do for Shining Stars. 2. Make a few chapters/episodes in advance. I would recommend for you to make about five chapters/episodes, and maybe post one a week, giving you time to work on future chapters and maybe even have some free time. I did this in the beginning at Shining Stars, but only for like two, and regretted it. Now I'm stressed, and being stressed isn't good. 3. Make designs for your characters, with a pallet. It's always good to have a consistent design for your characters, along with the color. That way, if you were writing about cats, and you had a tabby cat, the stripes wouldn't change position. Also make the references easily accessible, so that you can get to it easily. Which is basically what "easily accessible" means. And you can always slightly edit the references, but not by too much. For instance, if you had a light orange tabby cat turn into a dark orange tabby cat, that would be a bit too much, but if it went from light orange to a little bit darker orange (so in the middle of the scale), then that would be okay. But, like, don't change the eye color from green to orange or anything. Unless maybe orange was temporary, and it was their evil eye color or something? I dunno. 4. Be aloof at times. Let your viewers play around with the plot. Let them make a few theories. BUT DONT SPOIL IT FOR THEM!!! Don't say that their theory is right or wrong, maybe just do something in response as like, "hmmmmmmmmmmmm" or a lenny face of some sort. That's what I do, regardless of whether they're right or not. Or you could do something else. Unless if they ask about something not really related to the plot. Then that's fine. But then again you don't have to do any of this. 5. I don't know what I'm gonna put in here. I'll think about it.
