[[[epilepsy warning]]] They were apparently used for a construction project, though they were never actually used to do it. A few thousand are missing from the giant line of mechanical giants, the line goes on for thousands of miles, millions of machines simply standing there. None have rusted, and they never will rust, and for those that have gone missing have never returned. They can be tracked, but it is too dangerous to try and bring them back. Some explorers have made reports of seeing them on planets. Majority of the reports, if translated, mostly tell of them acting as protectors of living creatures on planets with life in a tribal stage, with them being treated as a god of some sort. Some reports tell of them being very destructive, terraforming the planet they live on, then after a few years the planet is seemingly better than it was before, and then the machine powers down, therefore allowing us to bring it back. It seems that the ones that escape do what they were made to do, assist those who need it or build. So far in the past few years they have been actually used for construction, but mostly for making or fixing exploration ships.
