Wooo! Finally got a project where I can begin telling the main story of Sol and Luna! Probably going to call it "Journey by Sun and Moon." This may be my first time doing a "true" animation in bitmap. I've done lore before, but this is my first time doing it as a map part. The beginning of the story! (Third person, Sol's perspective) It was the first day of 11th grade and Sol was running to his first class. If he didn't hurry he'd be late. Suddenly, he crashed into a girl, causing her to drop her books. "I'm sorry, I didn't see you there," he apologized. He began to help the girl pick up her books. Sol had been going to this school for years and had many friends, some of which he knew from early grades. But he had never seen this girl before. She had bleached blonde hair, dark skin, and gray eyes. "No, it was my fault. I was too deep in thought," she said shyly. "It's my first day here." "Well, glad I could help. I'm Sol, by the way." He gave her the last book. "Luna," she said. "We'd better be getting to class. See you around, Luna," said Sol. As he turned to go to class, he looked back at Luna. There was a look of thanks in her face, and as he imagined, love. Soon Sol and Luna became friends and started going places together. She liked that he was optimistic, friendly, and charming and he liked that she was sweet and liked to sing. It was as if Sol gave new meaning to her life... --- (time skip, several years later) Sol stood in front of the people gathered, facing his bride. She had just said "I do," and now it was his turn. The minister turned to Sol. "And do you take this woman to be your lawfully wedded wife?" asked the minister. "I do," replied Sol. "Then I pronounce you husband and wife," said the minister. Sol barely heard the clapping as he was in the middle of a long, passionate kiss with Luna. Soon they would be settling into married life. A year later, Sol got a letter from a long-lost cousin named Leo. And so their journey begins... --- I hope you don't mind that they got married at the end, but that's how it happens. It feels good to be doing map parts again. The hair animation was lazy but I'm still proud of it.
