The figure smiled a devilish grin and than arose out of the smoke with dark wings and glowing eyes. When it exited the smoke the wings disappeared, the figure said “So you thought that you could get off scot free? I see your using MY book.” the creatures grin turned into a smirk as it opened its mouth and said “You know, I am Realms, yes the Realms! Author of your spell book. Now YOU’LL get off scot free but eventually you may stray from your remaining humanity.” Peter decided to use a spell against this creature, the book seemed to be linked and some form of curse so he wanted it gone. Realms dodged and then as if everything was a hallucination disappeared. Peter looked at the book and tried to throw it not caring of the consequences, but something was wrong. Peter looked at the book and saw that it was attached to him as if it was a rare birth defect. Peter and the book where linked. Peter woke up not using any spells and tried to act as if nothing happened and everything was normal, but he knew otherwise. When he got out of bed he tripped and fell and the floor was wet somehow, causing him to slide and he fell down the stairs and it was the perfect trajectory for him to hit the chandelier which if he survived would not be able to pay the expenses. Suddenly time froze except for peter! “I knew you would come crawling back soon enough.” “Now, what do you say. One more spell?” the book opened to a page which would save someone from certain death at a cost. Peter could not see the side effect though as it was burned.
