Ok, so today's rant is schools and trans people!!! ----------------------Rants with @cs4811937------------------------- Before we start I don't want this to make anyone uncomfterble so if you don't want to read about some disturbing stuff, for example, homophobia and dysphoria then please click away! Ok, let's begin! I am a transgender man. There are lots of people in the world who have changed their gender but this is based on my school. I don't really know a lot of trans people at my school so I feel kinda weird. I always avoid the men's bathroom 1. Because the guys are SUPER hectic and will probably crush me against the wall and 2. All the boys in my school are super homophobic. So I avoid it as much as possible. Now on a good note, lots of people have said you can see a counselor and ask for a trans bathroom pass. It's a pass where you can go into the bathroom of the gender you want to go into. They can also change your name in the school system. Now I don't want to go to the counselor and make myself feel embarrassed about talking to her about going to my own special bathroom. Also, I haven't come out to my parents about being trans so if I change my name in the system my mom will be supper sus of me. Also, my school is super homophobic. My language teacher talks SMACK about the Lgbt community and an older sub disrespects pronouns and assumes genders. However my art teacher who I talked about in my coming out story part 2 is supper nice. She has multiple pride flags in her room and she respects my name and pronouns! My whole art guild does. Somebody made a joke they said," Wow I'm so gae I can't even draw a straight line" and everyone laughed. On my bus, people make fun of the community and my friend still forgets my preferred name and pronouns. It's supper annoying. That's all for today! I hopefully won't do too many rants but I had to let this out! Have a wonderful day! -Cs
