READ THIS BEFORE PLAYING WARNING: This game does include murder, and mean cats in it, so if that bothers you, then don't play. DISCLAIMER: In real life MURDER IS NOT OKAY BACKSTORY: You are a Timberclan cat born with a 'condition.' You have a rainbow tongue that's so long it dangles out of your mouth! Some cats think it's gross, or even infectious. However, it's a strength and you're going to use it! Also cats keep dying. (The rainbow line coming out of your mouth is the tongue) SOLVING THE MURDERS: There will be two murders, one the day before you start, and one a few days after you're a warrior. Find the evidence left behind for each murder. (Don't sleep until you do, otherwise it will disappear and you will lose the game). If you find both pieces of evidence, and are able to connect it to the right cat when questioned by Birchstar, then you win. BE WARNED: the murderer is picked randomly out of three cats, so if you play again it might not be the same!! Hold 'E' to see the evidence you've collected. (In mobile it is the button with three lines) If you can't solve the murders, or if you trust the wrong cats, you will end up being killed. If you're still stuck, scroll all the way down. TALKING: Click on cats to talk to them. Cats behave differently depending on how many times you talk to them, so talk to everyone when you're a kit MULTIPLE TIMES (Until they start saying the same thing over and over, at which point the words "+1 Social" will pop up) and again when you're an apprentice. If you do, they might have something kind to say to you when you're a warrior, If you don't all the cats will still say mean things to you. Forever. YOU CAN STOP READING NOW IF YOU STILL HAVE QUESTIONS THEN CONTINUE -Play full screen to see the cats better -The Mute and Pause buttons are in the top right corner -Hunger is in the top left corner, don't let it go down to 0. Click the fresh-kill pile or hunt to increase hunger All CONTROLS are in game, but I'll repeat them here: -Arrow keys to move -Down arrow to sit -Click on entrances or step on paw prints to get around (If you're in a den just walk towards the exit) -Space to scratch and hunt (In mobile it is the scratch button) -Click your character to see your stats, press any key to close it ALTERNATE ENDINGS: You can get 5 possible alternate endings by becoming a murderer yourself. To become a murderer, try doing something other than attacking the rogue. (Like maybe talking to him) After you join him, you go back to camp and have your warrior ceremony like usual. After your vigil, he will ask you to meet him at the border. All instructions are in game from there. FAQs: 1. Q: What is the special move Applefur keeps talking about? (No one has asked this yet, but I'm saying it before people ask) A: Your special move is using your tongue like a frog. Use the up arrow (If you are in mobile it is the tongue button) 2. Q: (No one has asked this yet, but I'm answering beforehand) Can I get a mate and kits? A: You can get a mate, but you still won't have kits. 3. Q: (It was asked once but I don't know where else to put this) When do I become and apprentice? A: Day 6 SPOILER ALERT!! Only read this if you're stuck WALK THROUGH: There are three possible murderers. The murderer is chosen randomly at the start of the game. Before you were born, an elder named Doeshine was killed. On the first day you have to find the first piece of evidence. Don't sleep until you find it, or it will disappear (Hint: go to the elders den) After that, you will have a semi normal life, until a few days after your warrior ceremony, when Sweetsong is killed. While the other cats are mourning around her corpse, search around for the second and final piece of evidence. (Hint: check outside camp, in the nursery, and the fresh-kill pile) Don't sleep until you find it, or it will disappear. If you have found any evidence, the next day Birchstar will ask you to meet her by the border at night. You have to go. Birchstar will ask if you trust her. If you think she's the murderer, then don't. However, if you don't trust her but she was NOT the murderer, then you will be killed. If you do trust her and she WAS the murderer, you will be killed. You have to have found both pieces of evidence to convict the murderer. If you have only found one piece, Birchstar will say you don't have enough and you will be killed. After presenting the evidence to Birchstar, you have one chance to state the name of the murderer. (Yes, you have to know the murderer's name). If you get it right, you will win, if you're wrong you will be killed. Be prepared to fight, because a certain murderer doesn't take losing well. (This walk through does not include the alternate endings when you're the murderer. If you want to read about that, scroll up a bit)
