He is never sad even though he is alone, for he enjoys his solitary life. Of course, there are more of him, also exploring. Millions of small spherical ships traveling around the multiverse faster than the speed of light. Sometimes he might meet with another, but they don't stay for long. For they both have a job that they must get back to. But while they meet, they might play a game. A game that you as a mortal wouldn't understand. So far he has only found plants and cells, which is life, but not the kind of life he is looking for. It is his job to find intelligent life that are smart enough to do things that nature never expected. But when he does find life. He first must observe their normal activities, then he must find out how long their average life span is, then he must take a specimen. He does not enjoy stealing the life from its home, but unfortunately it's his job to do it. When he obtains the life, he must travel back to his home, which is very far away. So far he has to rip the fabric of existence just to get to it. His home is the largest and most advenced structure ever created by a semi-living creature in the entire multiverse. His species is the supreme species, able to destroy entire galaxies, create any element from nothing, obtain an infinite energy source, all with the simple press of a button. His home is big, very big, so big it can't even fit in the galaxy it was made in. but of course, you are still wondering what they do with the life, yes? He, in his ship, bring the life to his home, where his semi-living species do simple tests on it. Of course, they are also able to communicate through its native language, so they can ask it questions about what their species are trying to do astronomically. Then, after they are satisfied with their questions answered, they send them back to their planet. it's a simple life, he goes back and forth. Get life, go home, bring back life to planet, continue to search for more life, repeat. This has been their life for trillions alone trillions of years, they have had to move their home to different universes after they die. But it's not like they miss their old universes. But they don't care, they just want to continue, and he just follows the rules.
