Author's Notes Heyo! Welcome to chapter one of Lighningbug Rabbit! An experimental scratch comic I'm making! Don't worry it isn't replacing Toph, but it will be a nice filler read in between Toph chapters. As you may notice- the art is somewhat different than Toph's. That's because I am trying out just being a little more free and loose with how the comic presents itself visually. I want to do alot more storytelling, character designing and worldbuilding, and toph doesn't fully scratch that itch, as it is still stuck in the confines of being a warriors fanfic. I also want to try my hand at some more slice of life and this comic allows me to fill those creative needs without being draining. It is super quick to make. This first chapter took under an hour to make completely. And most importantly this makes me happy. There's alot of stressful and crazy things going on in my irl life, but telling this story is a wonderful escape. Hope you enjoy this little comic of mine. P.S. If you are a comic artist working on multiple comics, this approach to the art to your more minor comics might help you out. Just don't worry to much about the polish and use the medium to tell your story. Get experimental! Alright peace out my dudes.
