You smiled at him and shook his outstretched hand. "I'm y/n, thank you for helping me out earlier," you thanked him. He waved his hand dismissively, "That was no problem. That guy was lucky my bro Tanaka wasn't with me, or he would've gotten more than just a fist to the face." You laughed and asked, "Was that you playing volleyball earlier? Do you play often?" you asked him. He nodded and started digging in his bag, "I'm actually on the school team, see I got my jersey on me because we have a game later today." He pulled out his jersey to show you. You noted that he was number 4 and he put the jersey back in the bag. "I play too, but I haven't tried out for the team yet. What position do you play?" you said curiously. He grinned, "Libero, I played it in high school too. What about you?" You smiled, "Wing spiker. I was the Ace on my high school team," you explained. He grinned, "Wow, that's amazing! My bro Tanaka is a wing spiker too, you should meet him," he insisted. You nodded, "Sounds fun. I'd like to come to your game too, when is it?" He told you the time and place and the teacher ended their lecture. As people were leaving, Nishinoya stuck by your side. "You want to come play with us? We were gonna have a practice game." he told you. You nodded, "Of course!" You looked at what you were wearing and sighed. You hated playing in jeans, but you'll have to make due. You jogged up to the grassy court and looked at the net. "This is higher than I'm used to." you said to Noya. "Oh, we can lower it if you want!" he offered. You shook your head, "I can manage, it'll be good practice for me." you told him. You were about 5'3' and you could easily reach 10 feet with a spike. You rolled your shoulders and stretched before you guys started. "Whoa! What's a smoking babe doing here Noya?!" you heard someone shout. You snorted with laughter at that and turned to see and guy with a buzz cut. "Yo, Tanaka! She's playing with us, wing spiker!" Noya shouted back. You smiled and stuck your hand out for him to shake. He shook it excitedly, "I'm Tanaka, and you are?" Noya answered for you, "Y/n, she's pretty cool." You guys started playing, and it was found out that you could jump higher than Tanaka. He could spike harder though, as he had more strength. You and Tanaka were on opposite teams, but you were both racking up points back and forth. Eventually, your and Noya's team took the set. You were sweating and had to fix your ponytail. Noya walked up to you and looked like he was going to ask something. You raised an eyebrow as he stuttered, "W-would you like to maybe, you know, go out somewhere sometime maybe?" he asked. You smiled, "Of course I would!"
