They have a deep connection. Lander was like a son to him. Lander always loved to help out and learn spells. However, the wizard mysteriously disappears and Echo has been waiting for his return for 3 years. One day he receives a letter from the wizard "Head north." He packed his bag and set out on a journey in hopes to reunite.
