I redesigned Urania's outfit! I just felt like the old one was a bit awkward looking so I decided to change the design. The thing on her left hand is a valve that allows her to expose the uranium crystal if she needs to, because previously she literally had to take off her glove every time which is kind of inconvenient. I haven't really figured out her helmet yet because I also don't like the old design but I'm kind of stuck because I can't draw helmets for some reason. For people who don't know who Urania is or people who want extra info Urania, formerly known as Abbey (short for Absintha), is a girl who unfortunately got a shard of uranium stuck in her left palm at a young age when she was visiting the nuclear reactor and something went wrong. Somehow, instead of being deadly to her, instead it kind of fused to her skin and made her radioactive, and somehow it couldn't be removed. It was later found that it had somehow integrated itself into her bloodstream and that she is partly made of uranium after the incident. The majority of the radiation comes from the uranium shard in her left palm, while the rest of her body also emits radiation but less of it. Her head generally doesn't emit radiation or at least very little of it, however when she is experiencing intense emotions the radiation will go to her head and the radiation all over her body will become stronger. Because of her radioactivity she was kept in a containment facility for 6 years until a few scientists decided that she shouldn't be kept indoors for the rest of her life so they designed a suit that can contain the radiation. Urania is now living a fairly normal life but she also uses the radiation to help people and to help combat evil together with the actual superheroes of her world under the alias of Urania (named after uranium and the Greek muse, unfortunately it does lead to some Uranus jokes). Some of the superheroes further enhanced the ability of her suit so she can channel the radiation as energy to allow herself to fly among other things, and added a valve thing to her left palm so her radiation is more accessible when it is needed. The suit includes a helmet that forms around her head when she needs it, and is part of the reason why she has short hair, because it can fit into the helmet easier. Also: I know actual radiation doesn't usually glow and if it does glow it's blue, but Urania's radiation is green because of aesthetic reasons.
