The shape faltered, gasping for breath, as an unseen force pressed down on it. “Please, no!” It cried, collapsing on the dirty forest floor, scrabbling at the dirt. The unseen force flickered into view, a transparent glowing figure, with the iciest blue eyes ever seen. It had a long devil-like tail, and was fully black and transparent, with ripped up ears, and scars all over its body. It had long claws on its paws, one slash could rip out someone’s throat. Snarling, it pressed down harder on the writhing bundle of fur. “Yes, I will.” Their eyes narrowed, and then with a last push, they let go, leaving the other being on the floor, silently gasping for breath. “You need to pay, for what you did. To me, and my family,” it mewed in a menacing purr. “But-” the other being looked nervous, scraping the grass on the floor. “But, WHAT?!” the devil mimicked, sneering and curling its lip. “I don’t have anything to pay with...” the cat trailed off, lowering its head and looking very nervous. “Oh, but you do.” The devil took a step forward, and with one swipe, placed a blue necklace on the neck of the cat. It was the same color as the devil’s eyes, and the cat paused for a moment, trying to fight it. “I’m sorry....” it trailed off, as the devil’s power took over. Its eyes now had no pupils, only glowing a brilliant, bright blue. The devil smirked, waved its paw, and the cat disappeared into thin air. “Now, you WILL do my bidding,” it laughed sardonically, and lashed its tail. The devil stalked through the forest, and looked around with slitted eyes. A shining white portal opened, and the devil stepped through, grinning wickedly. “Soon, I will make them ALL pay.” » - - - «
