Get Malachite (and the surprise) down from 50 health points to zero. Switch between Garnet, Amethyst, and Pearl with C. Use a Gem's weapon with Z. Use Steven's Shield with X. The Shield has a limited amount of time to use, but will recharge. Watch for signs of attack from Malachite to summon Rose's Shield. Have fun with the surprise! Note: This game was made months prior to "Super Watermelon Island", so the fight is definitely not canon. I might make a Malachite Fight 2 for In Too Deep though ;)
In Malachite Fight, Malachite has risen from the depths of the ocean, and Jasper wants revenge on the gems. Help Lapis Lazuli by firing Garnet's gauntlets, Pearl's spear, or Amethyst's spinning whip. Use Steven's shield to block Malachite's waves of water and her "Water Crash Helmet". Malachite can block your attacks too! Master this, and you will have no problem defeating... the surprise. updated art!
