Nico POV As soon as I got inside, I realized that I didn't want to do what I'd been looking forward to for three days. Being alone. I had gotten used to chatting with someone on the Argo II, or with Reyna, or even Coach hedge. And I looked forward to being able to talk to Will each day. And now I was alone, and bored. I sighed and stood back up, walking towards the infirmary. I wasn't really aware that I was doing it, I just went where my feet took me. I entered to see a confused Kayla standing at the desk. "Nico?" she looked at a clipboard. "Your three days are over." I opened my mouth and closed it again. "Uh- I sort of just started walking around then ended up here." he shrugged sheepishly. "Nico?" I turned around to see those blue eyes that I realized were filled with so many more colors than just sky-blue. "You were literally begging me to let you leave, and now you end up here again? If I didn't know any better I'd say you miss me." Nico felt his face heat up slightly. "I'm boooored." I cried softly in exasperation, stuffing my hands in my pockets. Will chuckled. "Well, I have my lunch break in an hour. Meet me at the pavilion?" "Will, we can't sit at the same table." "We can if your powers 'act up' when you're lonely or overwhelmed." he grabbed a notepad and started writing something down. "What are you doing?" I had to stand on my tip-toes and lean towards him to see. "A doctor's note." he ripped off the page and handed it to me. It said, "Nico di Angelo is having trouble controlling his powers without the comfort of others and will be sitting at the Apollo table until further notice." I read it then looked up at Will, who was grinning with his signature dazzl- I mean stupid smile. "Well then, I'll meet ya there, Death Boy," and with that he walked off to take the temperature of another camper. Will POV I sat at my table expectantly. I was sitting cross-legged as to reserve space for Nico, who hopefully would show up and eat something because holy Hecate that kid was skinny! I made a silent promise to myself that I would make sure he ate. Kayla wrinkled her nose when she walked up. "You're hogging the bench, William," she said, sticking her tongue out. She knows I hate my full name. She went around to the other side and sat next to Austin, who raised an eyebrow. "It's true, though. Dude, you're taking up enough room for three people." I felt a tap on my shoulder and turned to see Nico. I finally put my legs under the table, allowing Nico to sit. All of the Apollo kids stared at him, which Nico ignored and took a bite of the apple that appeared on his magical plate. I glanced at my siblings, who were now all looking at me. Several campers from other tables were staring and whispering too. Finally, I heard the /clomp/ of hooves approaching. "uhm, Mr. di Angelo, as you know, the rules state that you must be seated at your cabin's assigned table." Said Chiron, hovering several feet above us on his long white stallion legs. Nico just pulled the slip of paper out of his pocket and handed it to the centaur. "I have a doctor's note."
