New character Character: Ghostmist Story: Sorry, it's complicated. Ghostmist is, yes, a ghost, she just died (GOD that sounds weird.) Her spirit has just been extracted from her body, and she is mourning for her family. She died in a forest fire, caused by a scissor-tailed kite (type of bird) whom her mother made a deal with (kind of like Rapunzel). Her mother was caught with one of the kite's eggs, and was told that she'd have to give up her kindest, most beautiful kitten when they were born. Ghostmist's mother was able to keep Ghostmist (the kitten who was to be taken away) a secret but one day Ghostmist was too curious about the outside, as her mother had kept her in the den all her life. She ventured out, but was quickly spotted and identified by the kite as one of her mother's kittens. Angry at having been lied to, the kite grabbed a flaming branch from a campfire nearby and dropped it over (this does happen in real life, but with the kite's prey) Ghostmist. Her cries were heard by her mother, who rushed out, but it was too late... Enter Ghostmist's spirit. Oh wow, the story is l o n g
