CHAPTOR ONE ||||||~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~FADE ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~|||||| Fade walked along right up to the palace were guards were posted everywhere. She saw a red dragon. She walked up to him and said "Hello!" The red dragon looked at her. She saw he had bright blue eyes and a nice expression. "Hello." He said. "Who are you?" "I'm Fade!" Said Fade. "Nice to meet you Fade." He said. "My name is Forest Fire" "Nice name!" Said Fade. fourteen years later a storm hit. The wind rushed against Fade's face. The snow was whirling down on her. "FLAME" She called out. Forest fire's silhouette could just be seen fighting another dragon with blood red scales and yellow stripes along her back. She had a crown on her head. "The queen..." Whispered Fade. She started running toward him. "FLAME!!!" She cried, that was what she called him. "Flame!" She panted. "Flame..." She got there just in time to see Forest fire fall to the ground with bleeding scars along his back. "What did he do to you!" She cried at the queen. "He betrayed our kingdom!!!" She screamed as she ripped her talons across his face making large scratches. The wind almost threw her off her feet. "Don't hurt FLAME!" She yelled back. She threw herself at Queen Fire Storm and bit into the queen's neck. "Ha! You can never beat me!!!" Queen Fire Storm leapt up, and knocked Fade over. Fade grunted with pain but leaped onto a rock. She jumped onto the Queen's out stretched wing, biting into it and braking it. "NEVER HURT MY FRIENDS" She screamed. She ripped a hole in Fire Storm's other wing. The queen screamed in pain. Fade scratched her on the eye. The storm was making it hard to fight and the snow kept getting under her scales making it harder to fight. She leaped onto the queens tail digging her claws into it. Fade screamed as the Queen's teeth racked across her underbelly making a large cut. Blood poured out from her belly. The queen flew away. Fade crawled over to Forest Fire putting a wing over him, keeping him warm. The next day when the storm was over she got up and shook all the snow off of her back and looked were she had been laying. Blood had stained the snow and scales were littering it. She panted and crawled over to a small patch under a tree were no snow had fell. She picked up a leaf and put all the blood on the little leaf, then she put the leaf in the little patch and she looked at the blood. She saw a reflection. blood stained face and blood soaking her talons. She was 13 now. She had betrayed the queen just like Flicker, a sky wing from 6 years ago. She was scared and worn out. She panted. She peered at Forest Fire. She had spent 10 years with him, he couldn't be dead, could he...? wind rushed against her stunned face. She didn't want him to be dead. "I miss you..." She said. She checked his breathing, he was breathing slow and choppy. She sat down next to him. The next few days were harder, she had to get him to a safe place that wasn't full of other sky wings. The closest place was the valley of green. No sky wing ever went there. There were wolves, and rabbits, and other creatures sky wings didn't like. "We are in Sky field" She said as she drew a map with a stick. The next day Fade helped Forest Fire fly to The valley of green. The next day Forest Fire woke up. "W-what happened?" He said in a low voice. "Fade jumped up and ran to him. "Your alive!!! I could never go on without you!!!" She said. "B-barley" He whispered. "I healed up your wounds" She said as she pointed to the cobwebs on his back, tail, wings, and legs. The next day Fade got food, but she saw a sky wing near the valley. They moved that day and found a cave. Fade dropped onto some leaves they had collected together. She fell asleep.
