Aniumans slowly their humanity and has to take some of the humanity from others to stay human, they are similar to a vampire in that sense, but a change happens once a week, but the more they delay borrowing humanity, the more frequent those changes can happen, making them happen up to once a day if done enough, they also can't die by age, but can still be killed normally. They are generally harmless and don't want to take from others but are forced to so they can be seen as human... None of them want to be animals as when people find out what they are they tend to think they are dangerous and hunt them down... They also can eat if they want, but they have no need to. They originated from one person being cursed and that curse was passed down from generations to create these creatures now known as Aniumans... The curse has been passed down so long that, like humans, they are no longer considered to be related to each other, and rather than a curse, it is considered to be a species! Aniumans have no defining physical characteristics as they normally look completely human until they need to take a bit of humanity from someone, this is why specific looks of aniumans have never been recorded... Aniumans tend to only have a relationship with other aniumans due to the fact that they may accidentally take all of the humanity from whoever they are in a relationship if they are not an aniuman since aniumans can't take the humanity from another aniuman... Aniumans often physically age up to 25, so they tend to look really young, it is extremely rare, but not unheard of for an aniuman to reach a physical age of up to 30 yet only a handful have been able to achieve that... but that is just their physical age, their mental age being able to go on forever! Some aniumans have only been able to physically age to three, which creates biological problems which match a typical three-year-old, like having toddler-like speech and being a bit wobbly when walking... While it is not rare for this to happen, it's not common either, and there are plenty of aniumans who are stuck with the body of a three-year-old! It's about as common among aniumans as being born with a stroke! (I had a stroke before I was born, so I am justified for this analogy!) The animal aniumans slowly turn into if they don't steal *Ahem* I mean... borrow humanity, varies between aniumans, but is always a real, non-extinct animal at the time the aniuman was born! If an aniuman's animal that they slowly turn into before they borrow someone's humanity goes extinct, it doesn't affect the aniuman whatsoever other than being one of the only instances of that extinct creature left!
This species is entirely open for use, no need to ask me or let me know, but I would love to see what kind of OCs you make with them! I do ask that you keep with the aspects of an aniuman though! The reason that there will never be a drawing for what an aniuman looks like is not that I can't draw, because I can easily ask someone to draw a reference, but actually, because aniumans are basically humans that slowly turn into animals and it would just be a drawing of a human with ears and a tail! Also, aniuman is a combination of the words animal and human, if you haven't figured that out yet... And as usual, I put a lot more thought into my creation than necessary...
