This project uses 1880 to 2014 sea level data from https://www.csiro.au/en/education/resources/educational-datasets/reconstructed-global-mean-sea-level Also look at https://www.climate.gov/news-features/understanding-climate/climate-change-global-sea-level Each item in the list named "sea level" is the number of millimeters that global mean sea level was above or below the 1983 level, which is designated as 0. The big blue sprite representing the ocean is programmed so that it starts with its y coordinate at -158.7, which is the first item in the sea level list, the value for 1880. The program then steps through the list setting the y coordinate to each value in turn. The cat is programmed to say "help!!!" when touching the rising sea.
