"Crow, here," Charles said. "Dove?" "Here," Celestina replied. "Raven?" asked Charles. "Here," replied Leo. "And Robin," Charles said. "Here, and why is my code name so boring?" asked Finnegan. "You're not a part of the Society of Angel Paranormal Seekers," Leo said. "You're just honorary because you didn't have anything else to do." Finnegan muttered something under his breath, and Charles frowned when he heard it from Finnegan's mind. "All right, Angels, the meeting will commence," Charles said, taking a puzzle piece of glass wrapped in metal out of his pocket. Celestina and Leo did the same. "And you get metal?" Finnegan asked. "Teleportation," Charles said. "Members of the Society of Angel Paranormal Seekers can teleport as long as all members connect their jigsaw pieces together. This creates a mirror without a frame. Then, the leader -- me -- says where we are going. Finally, we walk into the mirror and go to the place we are investigating." "Aw, why can't I do the fun stuff?" Finnegan asked. "You didn't even exist when we made this society." "Oh, yeah," Finnegan said. "Can't I make my own society?" "And who would join you that would be serious about it?" Celestina asked. "Good point," Finnegan said, frowning. "I don't have many people my age who are interested in such topics." Charles nodded, frowning at the thought of not having someone who liked the same things as you. "Anyways, we should see which person message me today." Charles pulled out his Holoscreen and pressed the button on the bottom, the screen lighting up, black lettering on a white screen saying, "Press your thumb on the button three times to open your Holoscreen, Charles." Charles pressed the button three times, and a screen with different color apps opened, some with labels like "Photos" or "Videos," others like "Animation App" or "Games." Charles pressed the "Communication" app and selected the method of "Messaging." He clicked "Message by text" and it pulled up his list of contacts. The top contact was a person named Mika Edwardson and she was talking about how her and her brother Mason Edwardson had spotted paranormal creatures in their house. Mika wanted to get the creatures out of the house before their parents noticed. Charles texted back to them, saying, [ Noted. We will be there as soon as possible. ] Charles looked up. "Angels, we have our next task on hand," Charles said. "Wait, but Finnegan is only 7. Are we supposed to take him with us?" Leo asked, confused and worried about Finnegan. "Maybe he and Celestina can stay outside while we go investigate," Charles suggested. "Me? Stay outside? With a child?/ No way,/" Celestina said, shaking her head a few times, then glaring at Charles, angry that he would even think of something like that. "Well, you claim that you're so good with children, so now you'll have to prove that," Leo said, smirking. Celestina huffed but nodded, flipping her green hair off of her shoulders with both hands. "/Fine,/" Celestina grumbled, her arms folded and her hip cocked to the side in a sassy manner. "I will stay with the child. Not that I like this idea." Finnegan glared at Celestina. "What do you have against me?" Finnegan asked. "I haven't even done anything to you." "Never mind it, everyone. Let's just create the portal," Charles said, putting his puzzle piece in the middle of the circle. Leo connected his puzzle piece to Charles's, and Celestina connected hers to Leo's. Finnegan placed his hand over the puzzle pieces. "Alright, Angels. Our Teleporter Chain will take us to Cautious Cove, located in the outskirts of Sage Kingdom," Charles said, a serious look on his face as the puzzle pieces glowed silver and gold.
