"Call Father," Leo grumbled at his Vocatus. "Papa, are you really calling Grandpapa just because I'm not taking my coven training seriously?" asked Luther, surprised and nervous. Though King Archibald wasn't bothered by much, he wasn't very friendly when angry. [ This may take a while, ] the british AI voice said, the three blue dots that bounced after the previous one appearing on the screen. After it stopped loading, a black screen with the words "Camera off" in white letters appeared on the screen. "Father, turn your camera on," Leo said. The black screen slowly faded, Archie's face appearing in place. "Father, Luther isn't taking coven training seriously," Leo said, glaring at Luther, who smiled sheepishly. "Oh, really?" Archie asked, a frown on his face. Archie had suspected this would happen, especially if Leo was teaching Luther. "Yep. He keeps chanting 'bubble, bubble, toil, and trouble,' over and over again," Leo said, frowning. "Mhm," Archie said, nodding. "Could you bring your Vocatus to Luther for me, please?" "Oh, /definitely,/ Father," Leo said, smiling as he gave the Vocatus to Luther. "Hello, Luther," Archie said, frowning at the child. "Um, hello, Grandpapa," Luther said, smiling and laughing nervously. "Luther, you need to take coven training seriously," Archie said, still frowning. "One day, when you're eighteen, you will have to join one of the three Royal Covens-- your father's, Charles's, or Finnegan's. You need to know how a coven works and how to properly act in a coven, or you might mess up when you actually do coven rituals, spells, holidays, and other important things a coven does. Covens battle sometimes, as well, so it is also important you pay attention during coven battle training, in case you are put in a real battle someday." Luther sighed, tired of hearing the speech he's been given many times already. [ Why can't anyone realize that some things should have a little fun in them? ] Luther thought, frowning. [ Not everything has to be serious /all/ the time. Sometimes people should have fun, loosen up a little. Especially grown-ups. With their cold, stoic looks, and- ] Luther stops thinking when he sees Archie's cold, dark, intimidating glare. "I'm sorry, Grandpapa. I didn't mean you, I meant people in general- I mean... I'm really sorry," Luther said, a serious, solemn look on his face. "Never mind it, for now Luther." Luther's mind pounded with the words "for now." "For now?" Luther asked. "Don't mind it for now, Luther. Right now, you need to finish practice, and finish it well. Pay attention, don't slack off, try your best. I will talk to you later. Now, give the Vocatus back to your father," Archie said, the slightest emotion of hurt in his voice. "Y-yes, s-s-sir," Luther stammered, shakily giving the Vocatus to Leo. Leo took the Vocatus. "I'll talk to you later, Father, okay?" Leo said, smiling. "Yes, my son," Archie said, smiling slightly. "See you, Father," Leo said, pressing the button on his Vocatus. "End call." The screen went blank, back to it's glass state. Leo then turned to Luther. "All right, Luther. Now, where were we?" Luther shrugged, then looked away, a nervous look on his face. He wasn't worried about where he was now, but where he would end up later.
