Instructions

Spooky Scary Horse Contest Goal: Draw a super scary equine (Skeleton horse, ghost horse, kelpie, etc.) or draw a normal horse in a creative costume (Clown, pirate, etc.)! Okay, so this is my entry! I dressed up my horse Robin, a young filly I bought from @Bluenight9810's Mustang Rescue: https://scratch.mit.edu/projects/544813456 In case it isn't obvious, those are supposed to be braids in her mane and tail with bows on the ends. I worked hard to put lots of detail in this picture. I'm especially happy with the pumpkins and the moon. Some notes: The moon is a white circle, with a larger circle behind it of white in the center fading to clear. It then has some small circles on top which are slightly grayish. The clouds are see-through without using ghost effect. It's hard to explain how I did that, but I'll try. 1. I made a tall skinny rectangle with a gradient fill colour, dark grey fading to nothing/clear 2. I pressed the reshape button and clicked the rectangle. It has 4 points on it, at the corners. (I'm in scratch vector btw) 3. I clicked four different spots on the sides of the rectangle to make new points closer to the clear end of the rectangle than the gray end. 4. I deleted the four original points, so I was left with just a small section of the original rectangle. Since this was close to the clear end of the rectangle, it was clearish without being completely clear. I then reshaped the section I had left to a rounder cloud shape. If anyone already knows this trick and has a better way of explaining it, please let me know.
