"Come on, Kirei!" Jodi urged Kirei as she ran past a few market stands. "We need to get the cookies next!" "Why would Father want cookies?" Kirei asked, her voice deadpan. "Father should want some new clothes. Not that his outfits aren't wearable anymore, it's just that clothes shopping is better than getting the weekly shopping." Jodi groaned. "Oh, Kirei, don't be such a drag," Jodi said. "The weekly shopping gives us all the necessities we need for the week- food, jewelry, gold-" "Gold? Father can literally make gold appear in his hands. Why do we need gold?" Kirei asked. "Because it's fun to work for gold, and we need to collect Father's weekly gold bag. Mine, as well." Jodi grabbed Kirei's hand and ran towards the Gold Storage Bank. "Jodi, Kirei, a pleasure to see you!" the lady at the front counter said when they go up to her booth. The lady pulls out two small gift bags and hands them to the girls. "Cinnamon Melts for Jodi, and Marshmallow Melts for Kirei," the lady said. "Thank you, Miss Foreswift," Jodi and Kirei say in unison. The lady nods. Miss Foreswift then grabs two large bags and sets them on the table. "I'll get you a cart to put them in," Miss Foreswift curtsies, then scurries in another room. A few minutes later, she comes out with a blue box with silver wheels attached to it. There is also a silver handle to pull the cart. Kirei and Jodi take the bags and set them in the cart. "Thanks again!" they both say. "See you later!" Kirei pulls the cart, while Jodi holds the small gift bags. --- "Okay, now all we need are some... clothes?" Jodi gives Kirei a stern look, while Kirei smiles and looks away. "Come on, it'll be a surprise for Father. /And/ we can get new dresses," Kirei said, still smiling. "I like my dress. I don't want a new one," Jodi huffed. "Well, I'll get you the same dress, but in royal blue. Then you'd be able to wear Father's favorite color!" Jodi sighed, then nodded. She couldn't resist getting something that her Father would like. "Fine. We go, but only to get me a royal blue dress that looks like the one I have now," Jodi said. Kirei squealed and clapped her hands twice. "Splendid! Let's go!" Kirei grabbed Jodi's hand and ran towards the clothes market, excited to get Jodi interested in wearing a new dress for once. (End for now. I may add to this, I don't know yet.)
