explanation for the non-trauma version: Compo - He was a normal human being, and he was cursed to be a tv. So without that curse he's a normal boy Bill - He had a lot going on in his life, wars, demolishment, and sacrifices. Yeah sounds cringe coming from only a bobcat, but like that caused bill to become more hidden. Without that terrifying witness, he's a talking bobcat Jane - She had demons posses and follow her all her life. Her backstory just seems forgotten. But without the demons in her, she's a unique human. Clyde - Clyde is a robot with a human soul inside of him. His backstory is simple, a robotics person named Clyde had to go in a robots body in order to live longer, so it was like an experiment. But yeah if you remove that huge chunk of o u c h, clyde is a human again. Mary - Mary is an elf, she's had some connections with magic, power, etc. This made her partly insane. In her village, there was an apocalypse so her villagers had to evacuate. But while this was happening, Mary's left eye got infected. That eye is sensitive and full of unknown power so she keeps it hidden under her hair. But in this project none of that happened so she's her normal elf self. (oh god that's such a cringey rhyme)
