Description

press the green flag. drag the planet around. this is the first version. it only has the star, and the one gas giant, Rundase, which orbits around it. this is entirely based off of Newtonian physics, and the Inverse Square law. one pixel represents one unit of distance. sizes not to scale. starting out, the planet forms a pretty perfect circular orbit, but when you drag it you can change the orbit things. currently, the planet is attracted to the star but not vice versa (although in reality, the star would have a very small gravitational pull towards the planet). Also, no collisions. I made everything myself. inspired by MohammedSadek2's project Planets and Moons http://scratch.mit.edu/projects/MohamedSadek2/453460 you can use this if you want but please give credit, even/especially if you use my Rundase sprite (I worked hard on it) NEW: I have changed the star to a Red Dwarf that expands, contracts, brightens, dims, and gets more and less opaque. most importantly, I got the moon to orbit right! YES!!
