So, Kirigiri in the story finds a bone key that unlocks any room on the campus right? Well, let's just say she gets caught by monokuma here. Kirigiri finds the key, but is then caught by Monokuma. Of course he wants her dead for this, but he has a better idea. To use her. He drags Kirigiri into a room and locks the door shut. Kirigiri is strapped onto a disecting table with nowhere to go. She gets some kind of chemical that makes her fall asleep injected into her neck so the effect would spread faster. Monokuma, or Junko, replaces her eye with a monokuma one, so they can see and somehow CONTROL her through the eye. So anything Kirigiri sees, the mastermind will see too. When Kirigiri wakes up, she's laying in the middle of a hallway, with Tohemi, Neagi, Fukawa, Asahina, and Hagakure surrounding her. They look in horror as she then realized her eye wasn't her own, but a camera and controller for Monokuma. Neagi asks if she's ok and what happened. She doesn't remember though. Togemi thinks that she's the mastermind, but she assures him that she isn't. While everyone's arguing about what had happened, of course Monokuma activates the eye in the middle of Kirigiri's and Togemi's argument, giving him full control over her. She gets up and immediately strangles Neagi with a terrified feeling that she may kill him, but she can't do anything about it. Asahina tries to release Neagi from her grip, but is unsuccessful. She's screaming for Kirigri t let him go, she tells Asahina that she couldn't and cried. She's wailing apologies to Neagi as he's still in her grip, closing his throat. Eventually, Monokuma loses the control, as he broke something in the process of trying to kill Neagi. They both fall. Neagi's gasping for breath and Kirigiri's sobbing, terrified when Monokuma may strike again. She hugs her knees on the side of the wall, unsure what to do. Her friends were afraid of her, and she understood why they would be. She runs off sobbing, apologizing as she decides to lock herself in her room, for her friends' safety. Neagi and Asahina follow, trying to reason with her, trying to get her to come out, understanding it wasn't her fault. She refuses to come out as she wails for them to get away from her. She throws the key at the door and tells them to save themselves. Yet, Neagi knows Kirigiri well enough than to let Monokuma to take control, and is plotting a way to free Kirigiri from his grip.
