Click things in your toolbox to pick them up, and click again to use them. Press space to put them back down. Most items can only be put down in your toolbox. Use the tip of your shovel on the grass to collect seeds. You may have to dig multiple times. You can plant them as well. Birds will be attracted to your island if your flower blooms! If you use your axe on the leaves, you can get an apricot that will attract blue jays! Platforms with grass on them will attract goldfinches! Simply place some wood down, place dirt on the wood, and wait until it rains.
