Her dad convinced her to go start a new life. She took it offensively and thought he was basically saying "get out of here i can take care of myself". She went to the town her mom was born in, got an apartment and started her life. She's still depressed today about her mom and dad but she tries to hide it in front of her friends because she doesn't want them to all focus on her. Now she grieves, writes and draws most of the time in her apartment.
