Backstory: Lightning opened his eyes, staring in awe at earth. He lay down with a huff. The sky was so boring! Nothing to see except clouds, clouds, and more clouds. Something sprang at him from the corner of his eye. A fluffy grey cat, whose fur always matched the color and texture of the clouds. “Thunder!” He yipped. This cat was his only source of entertainment besides watching Earth and his own imagination. “I missed you!” “Sorry I took so long,” Thunder licked his now wispy fur fur. “Had someone I wanted to rain on.” “What?” “Cat stuff, sorry!” “Very funny. Ha. Ha. Like I don’t share EVERYTHING with you.” “Alright, it was this giant cat who was being just plain mean.” “I wish I was on Earth…” “Well… I have an idea.” “Tell me.” “I don’t think it will work…” “Just tell me.” “It has a 99% chance of killing you.” “JUST TELL ME.” “Alright, summon some lightning…” With ease, Lightning sent several fiery flashes to the earth. “Now hop onto one.” Lightning leapt onto one and glided down to earth, right to the backyard of a little house. A young boy sat there, gazing in wonder. Lightning was taken in and called Zeus by his new family.
