LV&PC acquired an EMD GP9 at startup, but it never ran. Thanks to SURX, new trucks (ALCo, BTW) were placed under the frame, the prime mover has been upgraded from a 567 to a 645, and the cab is now a Canadian comfort cab! Big thanks to those at SURX who sold the parts! Nicknamed the "Clearly Canadian" due to the cab and color scheme, adapted from the cab itself. Crews also painted a maple leaf on the side of the cab!
